Simple Technique to Moderate Vaping!

I just kept vaping the whole day. Just couldn’t stop myself.

From waking up in the morning until passing out in the night, I kept abusing it. These devices didn’t come with a stop switch. And I never developed a one for me.

That’s bad! Why? Simply, because the loss of time and opportunities was causing a far more damage than the act of indulgence itself. Not to mention the affect on my mind, health, money, and sanity!

For really long, I just couldn’t understand how to overcome this – until I discovered something one day. And applied it to solve my vaping obsession.

What did I do?

Rather than trying to quit vaping altogether (which I found extremely difficult to do), I began to time my vaping session.

Here’s what I did:

  • Set up a timer for 5 minute
  • Allowed myself to indulge in this duration
  • Quickly switched to a 25-min productive window after that

What did this change in my life?

  • Saved me a lot of time. Else, I would’ve spent all my time abusing the vape, doom scrolling, fantasizing, worrying, or jerking off.
  • Created space in my life to actually do things. Switching to a 25-min window right after the session finally allowed me to address long-pending tasks and issues.
  • Made me feel good. Finishing one productive activity, I was able to finish a few more in succession. Getting to finally accomplish a few things after a long period of doubt finally instilled some confidence in me.
  • Better physical and mental health. Switching from a long phase of extreme abuse to moderation provided my body and mind with the relief they were longing for.

But how do I stop myself right after 5 min?

Before I start vaping, I do a simple thing. In a small glass of water, I add a few drops of neem water and keep it near to my vaping space.

As soon as my timer rings, I just drink this water slowly, trying to cherish every sip of it.

The bitter taste of it serves as a natural barrier to further vaping. You need something bitter and hydrating to counter the sweet and dry effect of vaping. Neem water fits perfectly in this equation.

But just neem water won’t suffice. You need to quickly set up a 25-min timer and get started with something. Anything. Doesn’t matter what it is!
